Nursing Continuing Education

NPDPA™ provides quality continuing education (CE) offerings in a cost-effective, convenient, virtual format. All CE offerings are thoroughly researched and written by nurse experts who are knowledgeable about evidence-based practice. All CE offerings reflect current scientific evidence/ controversy and national standards of care from professional organizations, accrediting and governmental agencies.

The shortage of nurses also translates into a shortage of nurse educators. Instead of every nurse educator "reinventing the wheel" and spending countless hours in researching, writing, updating and record-keeping educational materials, NPDPA™ provides quality materials, written by nurse experts. Our CE products enable nurse educators to spend time at the bedside demonstrating, mentoring, precepting, and reinforcing educational content. This enables the nurse educator to spend her valuable time as a change-agent, decreases "burnout" and increases job satisfaction among nurse educators while enabling a more efficient and cost-effective use of the nurse educator’s time and talents. If there is a large class of nurses, the CE offerings can be used by the nurse educator to personally teach the class; smaller numbers of participants can use the CE classes as self-study modules and present their certificate of completion to the nurse educator.

NPDPA™ CE offerings are available to the individual professional nurse for her/ his own education. The nurse pays for CE offerings of her/ his choice with a credit card and accesses the offering with a coded password. After the CE offering is completed, a completion certificate with continuing education credits can be printed. For 6 years, NPDPA™ archives the individual transcripts of every CE user, and upon request, will email a chronological transcript to the user for relicensure and/ or recertification.
